At Sana Commerce, you’ll join a team that’s bold, growth-oriented, and customer-obsessed, where every engineer has real ownership and impact.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering department in Alexandria. In this role, you will be the bridge between development and operations, ensuring our high-traffic B2B SaaS platform remains scalable, secure, and resilient. You will work closely with our software engineers to streamline our delivery pipelines and optimize our cloud infrastructure. This is a role for a proactive problem-solver who values automation over manual intervention and wants to take ownership of a global Azure environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support a fast-moving release cycle for our C# and TypeScript-based services.

  • Manage and scale our cloud infrastructure in Azure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate GraphQL APIs and microservices seamlessly into our deployment workflows.

  • Monitor system health and implement automated alerting to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or downtime.

  • Drive the “Infrastructure as Code” (IaC) mindset across the organization to ensure reproducible and documented environments.

  • Optimize cloud spend and resource allocation without compromising on platform stability.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering role, preferably within a SaaS environment.

  • Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing production workloads in Azure.

  • Automation & CI/CD: Proven track record building and managing pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).

  • Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate repetitive tasks.

  • Networking & Security: Solid understanding of DNS, SSL/TLS, virtual networks, and cloud security best practices.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex infrastructure concepts to developers working in React and .NET.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Bicep.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging stacks (e.g., Azure Monitor, ELK, or Datadog).

  • Prior experience working with GraphQL in a production environment.

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions).
